8 more days...

We are a busy family of 3...but not for long! We just moved into our new house and we finally have the Internet again! Also, I broke (shattered on the cement) my camera in July and have been borrowing my mom's since then. We finally got a new camera today, so hopefully I will start blogging more now! 8 days until baby Elly's arrival! We are beyond excited to meet our little baby girl! I finally feel settled in the house, so I am ready for a newborn! My last day of work was yesterday, thank goodness! I was going to work up until a couple days before but my feet/body/everything hurt so bad and so I decided I need to rest for a week before. I went to the doctor today and everything is all good. She is very low and ready to go! I will try and update the blog with pics/info. as soon as I can. I hope everyone is enjoying spring! We are trying but Michigan weather is so yucky! We are having an ice storm right now :(

February Already!

Wow! I can't believe it's February already! And I can't believe it's been November since my last post...sorry! A lot has been going on this winter. Madi has grown up so much! She is almost 28 months old. She is into EVERYTHING! I am having a hard time keeping up with her lately, especially with my big belly! She is so sweet but she loves to test me...but that's a 2 year old for ya! She has big news...NO MORE DIAPERS! We started the 3-day potty training method on Friday and she has been doing great! She has been staying dry all throughout the day, nights are a different story but we are working on that. I am so proud of her! She is still really excited about having a little sister. She LOVES babies! She is gong to be a big help for me. I am training her to "go get mommy a diaper" and "give baby her paci". HAHA! We have decided on baby girls name...ELLYANA MARIE. (Pronounced EL-EE-ON-A) I will call her Elly for short. I am almost 31 weeks pregnant and feeling pretty good. My c-section is scheduled for March 31st!!!! Only 2 months away! We are moving into our new house this month and having a baby next month....crazy! Here are some catch up pictures...

It's a.......

We had our 19 week ultrasound on Friday to find out the sex and check on the heart. Everything was perfect! The ultrasound tech said that the baby had a "beautiful heart". I had tears running down my face! It was the most amazing thing I have ever heard!!! We had the tech write the sex in an envelope so that Chris and I could find out what we were having in private. So we went out to eat and opened it together. It's a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Madison is very excited about having a sister! They are going to be so close!!

We are beyond blessed to have a healthy baby girl!

Today is the 2 year anniversary of Madison's open heart surgery. We are so proud of her and how far she has come! We love you Madison more than you will ever know!

I'm excited to announce that our little family of 3 will grow to 4 by April 8th! I am 14 weeks and 4 days pregnant today!

We will get to find out what we are having on Nov. 12. We will also have a fetal echo at the same time. After I see a healthy heart I will not care what we are having! This pregnancy is so different though so I am thinking it's a boy but we will see. I will keep you all updated! Madison is excited to have a "Brodder and sisser". She wants both she said! Too bad Madi, there is only ONE baby in there!
